Chosen solution

So you have the view in my last screenshot. Click the Filter button to drop down a menu, then click Sort to show the sub-menu. Can you use this menu to get your messages back in date order?

P.S. Mozilla releases the Firefox browser, but it doesn't have any control over the website you view in the browser.

Hi, are you viewing your email on a website in Firefox, for example, Google (Gmail), Yahoo, or Outlook?

Or are you viewing your email in the separate Thunderbird email program?

Hi, to get your messages in as close to pure reverse chronological order as possible, and to separate received and sent messages back into their own lists, disable the Focused Inbox and Conversation view. Here's a screenshot of where those are in the Settings:

Don't think you and I are talking about the same thing - apparently I'm not making myself clear, to be sure. Anyway, as I go into my outlook e-mail - I see my messages-----------but the most recent messages are last or scattered through my old e-mail, I have to look for them. Before last update, or there about, they were the current, newest date at top of list, now they are not. Am not very computer literate - each time you update, something is always wrong! Hope I explained better-------------

And in the left column you select mail, then under Folders you select Inbox, and then you see a list of messages, but yours are NOT sorted by date like mine:

Correct - Simple: Since recent update a few days ago my e-mail isn't working right. Seems you can now understand what I'm trying to tell you - Simply put, my e-mail is not sorted according to date and is somewhere at the end, instead of at the beginning with newest date first. I have to search for it. Can anyone there help - actually since your department caused my problem, maybe you should fix it. I've been trying for 2 days now------------------HELP and make it simple if I have to fix it so I can understand.

Guess I should be thankful, if this is my only problem, huh! Thanks
