I can't go back to older versions. I get the same error. The error is not by my provider because webmail via ziggo is working! Please fix it ASAP

As long as you keep your browser and mail apps up to date, and let them manage SSL connections, I think it's safe to not allow a 3rd-party security app to do the same, and possibly break the connection. Options that worked before don't always work when any of the apps are updated, since one app can't test compatibility with all possible combinations of other apps.

Your settings look correct. What's the antivirus? Security exception/certificate errors can be caused by AV apps like Avast. The TB profile folder should be excluded from AV scanning and scanning of secure (SSL) connections should be disabled. Or better, remove Avast/AVG if you have it and use Windows Defender.
Running Windows in safe mode is a way to test the influence of startup apps like AV.
1) I use a paid version of G Data Internet Security as Antivirus. I had never problems with Thunderbird. When i update from version 78 till latest, i can not use my Email provider ziggo anymore to get email. 2) I use a gmail account en live mail accout too and give no problems.
It must be something else.
i made some changes in ports When i remove port 993 something happens now!
Is something changed in the SSL connection protection?

I can't read the Dutch in the GData pictures, but I think you should try disabling all of its settings for scanning mail and secure connections, and keep the recommended ziggo server settings. Or, try Windows safe mode as already suggested.
But is it safe /secure to disable the SSL options? Why i never had to make this change in older versions?
