Firefox no longer works after uninstalling Mozilla VPN

more options

I was forced to uninstall and reinstall Firefox because I got this System Error:

"The code execution cannot proceed because of VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fi this problem."

I did this and now when I open firefox and click on a bookmark nothing loads. It seems like somehow it cannot communicate. Do you have any ideas how to fix this?
