Mobile Websites on Desktop Browser - switching automatically

Hey everyone,

I got one problem with Firefox Browser on my Macbook for a few days now. When opening websites in normal browser on desktop they often switch to mobile version, but not from size or format, but like the menu is switching to burger icon and layout is changing - sometimes even the URL changes to mobile subdomain. I dont know why this happens. Does anyone have some idea what the problem might be?

I attached some screenshots of Youtube and Google Drive to show my problem.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards Ronja

As I understand, some websites have opted out of the user agent string for formatting the layout of the webpage. The whole thing will just rely on javascript enabled and the dimensions of the canvas. Have you tried zooming out?
