Hi,

I was migrating my staff to Thunderbird 78.12.0 and noticed that under Windows 7 x64(yes we still have some clients with win 7) the send to feature just won't work. I've tried several things like settings default from control panel, registry, creating a new Send To entry, reinstalling with no success. If the app is closed, when i try and use Send To it opens it but thats all.

There are two steps I'd recommend. For W7, install the MS Visual Studio 2015 runtime library:

Second, run the installer for the same version currently installed, 32 or 64 bit:

Thank you so much! Just as a note for whoever might have the same issue, I have installed the Visual 2015-2019 runtime. After I ran the full installer over the existing installation with advanced, checked to set Thunderbird as default and restarted the computer without running the app. Worked like a charm.
