Hello! I am running Linux Mint (20.2) and I just got a notification to upgrade Thunderbird to 78.12 in the software update application. This puzzles me as the Thunderbird website only shows up to 78.11. I could not find a release calendar for Thunderbird to confirm and the link to the release notes comes up as a 404 error.

Any thoughts on this? Perhaps a mistaken/unannounced release? Or am I getting spoofed?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I have received a copy of the release notes for V78.12 from the release engineer and there is a 78.12 build up there https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-esr78/file/3d3d5640bfac60507d42648dc4d9c20e9e0f84a8

Thanks for the info, Matt.

I am curious if someone may have just compiled it and set it out on a respository as an upgrade; either intentionally or otherwise. I think I will wait for a more official announcement to upgrade.  :-D
