Whenever I try to login to Evernote, I get the following error: The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to www.evernote.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
Just recently, I can not login into several websites using "Firefox". With other browsers, I have no problem. For example, whenever I try to login to Evernote , I get the following error: "The page isn’t redirecting properly. An error occurred during a connection to www.evernote.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I had no prior problems before and I have made no changes to my settings. Apparently, there is something broken in Firefox because no other browsers produce this error. I have already tried the suggested solutions such as clearing history, cache and everything else. I have even uninstalled and re-installed several times but it always eventually returns to this state. Firefox has always been my favorite browser, but if this error can not be fixed, I have no problem dropping it forever and switching to a more reliable browser. Please fix this, don't force me to change browsers.

Problem solved. As I was uninstalling Firefox, i ran across what my problem was. My Firefox link/shortcut had been hijacked by "Safesear.ch" . This is what I discovered in my shortcut properties "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" http://www.safesear.ch/?type=20180711-230-ff-sr. After I finished uninstalling Firefox, I also removed any references to "safesear.ch" from the registry. After re-installing Firefox, I no longer have any problems accessing any websites. Thank you for your help.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky,
BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure
connection certificates and send their own.
