Cntrl+P or File > print... overlays a white screen w/ pinwheel. Doesn't advance, no options. No print preview

I cannot print from mozilla. When I attempt to print, the print preview screen appears, but w/ no information other than a pin wheels which never advances. I have to close the window to even close the print preview screen.
