Secure Connection Failure / Firefox Did Not Connect

When attempting to connect to a certain website, I received the following pop-up from Mozilla via this link:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/secure-connection-failed-firefox-did-not-connect?as=u&utm_source=inproduct

"Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.orderonline.kimberlysfloral.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

If I have a VPN installed and running on my PC at the time that I attempted this connection, then wouldn't you expect that I would receive such a warning? Please advise by replying to johnspitters@yahoo.com.
