Bitmap-like font when print webpage to PDF
Please see the attachment, which was the screenshot of a PDF file that was printed from a webpage.
A bitmap-like font was used, which made the text blurry.
I tried setting "layout.css.font-variations.enabled" to false. It didn't help.
This is firefox 87.0 (64-bit) on Void Linux x86_64.
Some help, please?

Hi, is this using the new "Save to PDF" feature in the combined preview/setup/print overlay, or using a PDF printer driver on your system?
When web pages contains large runs of web fonts (rather than standard built-in fonts), Firefox may switch from sending text to the printer to sending full page images. That could be what happened in your case, but it's hard to say because it's a password protected page.*
Taking a closer look, it seems that the word DRAFT appears across the printout? That could indicate that the page you were printing was itself an image or an HTML canvas, or tied the text to the image, which would make Firefox more likely to send a full-page image to the printer.
Of course, if the website is giving you a PDF or embedded PDF, you'll have the best results if you can download the PDF instead of reprinting it. But I don't know whether that is relevant in this case.
* I have a feature in one of my add-ons to switch the fonts as a workaround, however, for any official record, I would not use it. https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ext/printable.html
Thank you!
I run Firefox on Void Linux. I tested the website using Firefox on two different computers. One is Gentoo Linux. The other is Debian. Both printed the fonts fine. I think there may be some fonts missing on my Void Linux, unfortunately.
