Can't access Thunderbird emails
Having issues with Thunderbird email login on my desktop computer. Here’s what happens:
I open Thunderbird, using the icon on my desktop. Typically, this would bring me directly to my email account. Instead, I receive this message:
Enter your password for email@example.com on inbound.att.net:
At that point, I enter my email password. While it is attempting to connect, this message shows at the bottom of the Thunderbird screen:
Host contacted. Sending login information.
After a lengthy wait, I receive this message:
Sending of password for user firstname.lastname@example.org did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: Server error - Please try again later.
I have been trying again later for several days.
I set up a new account through Yahoo, using my original email ID and password, and loaded the Yahoo App on my tablet. This worked to gain access to email on my tablet.
Do you have suggestions on how to fix this problem?
