Why does Firefox 'DEMAND' that I give my age when I open an account? Is it for selling to third-party companies? You do a lot and say a lot to protect your security but it would appear that by insisting that I reveal my age you are not respecting MY privacy. Mike

Legal issue. We can't allow children under 13 (AFAIK) to open an account. You don't have to provide your real age, it's just to make sure you're old enough.
