l signed up for account recovery a few days ago. I use mac mail. I looked at the email, there is no clue how to use the account recovery. There appears to be no numbers custom to my account in the email and no clue about how to proceed with account recovery.

Normally, a temporary password, or a reset link, is sent to the e-mail on file with that website.
