Firefox is not responding for me and I've tried everything.

-I've refreshed the firefox app 5 times -reinstalled it -cleared cache and cookies -I did a troubleshoot -disabled add-ons -disabled hardware acceleration

nothing. Any sugguestions?

What's your computer system and Firefox version?


Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?


Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.
