Recently accessing shows on cbs.com fails with an error 113 that they can not show ads?? Have disabled adblocker on site before, but still get it. Even disabled the adblocker altogether and get the same thing. Tried all the things about clearing cookies and cache, but nothing fixes problem. Can copy link, and in Google Chrome I get an error 1106 the first time, but then do a refresh, and it works fine and plays show just fine. So, not sure why I'm getting the 113 error with firefox? Don't know if a recent upgrade to firefox changed something, or if something changed with cbs.com that it doesn't play the add. The ads on the google chrome where from boh.com, but tried adding that to whitelist, and still got the 113 error. But then even with adblocker completely disabled it did the same.

Chosen solution

One other possible cause of blockage would be Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. The shield icon toward the left end of the address bar usually turns a bit purplish when content is blocked. Click the icon to learn more or make an exception. See: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop.

Otherwise, hmm, do you have any other popular privacy add-ons besides your ad blocker? Extensions such as Blur, Disconnect, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery, NoScript, Privacy Badger, and uMatrix usually provide a toolbar button to manage blocked content in a page. There may or may not be a number on the icon indicating the number of blocked items; you sometimes need to click the button to see what's going on and test whether you need to make an exception for this site.

DuckDuckgo ?? Didn't know it did anything in regards to protection? Just recently added it? Thanks. Put cbs.com into its unprotected, and seems to work.
