Thunderbird beta must have loaded at the last update. It destroyed all my history and made me start over from scratch. So I lost years of email history, my calendar data, and my address book data. It also has a back-and-forth with my ISP which I DO NOT WANT. I wish to recover all my data and not be stuck with this horrible beta. I will try to catch an email response from my ISP, but I cannot use Thunderbird to catch a response.

fix to me: install latest/stable version. Data restored.

I installed that latest stable version with the same effect. Why did you decide to put out a new version that doesn't incorporate the existing data and has no way to import the old data? If I have to start over from scratch I might as well go to another email client that doesn't trash my data! I have lost more than 10 years of data!
