Hello

Whenever I download a PDF file since some releases on of Firefox android

I have only two apps that are prompted to open it

RAR archiver from rarlabs Prestigio e-reader

My PDF reader though is Foxit PDF

but I don't have it in the prompted apps

I tried to remove it and install it

I cleared the RAR and Prestigio behaviors with other settings and default behavior

So?

See attachment please to get the idea

While , see the other attachment, if I try to open a downloaded PDF in chrome , Foxit PDF is there!!!

This is a complain that returns , I mean I'm not the only one out there that have this behavior

Can you kindly help fixing that?

Thank you

P.S. another crazy issue is that checking right now

I tried to tap on various PDF files in my downloadeds

Waow !

Some will directly open Prestigio e-reader

Some will prompt for ALSO Foxit PDF

Some prompts for Prestigio and RAR only as said above

Some doesn't prompt for nothing at all

What's this??

Looks like some badly exported pdf files. The prompts only appear for aps that support the given type of the file. If it's a strange PDF version it might not work with every app. Also When in browser than it depends on the websites implementation too how it's opened.

Hello Here we are talking about downloaded files

So we are not on this or that website

Files are already in the phone download directory

Pdf is PDF AS file extension, what you talk about !?!?!

Then It will be matter of the PDF Viewer to decide if it can open such PDF or it won't
