
The Thunderbird Quick Search Box no longer works as expected
The Thunderbird Quick Search Box no longer works as expected. Have been able to use this feature to search all messages by email address to see contact history with a specific client. Starting in January 2021, this search feature only presents messages dated 2020 or older. How do I make the Quick Search Box work again?

To Contributor Matt -- The solution provided successfully corrected the issue where the Thunderbird Quick Search Box was no longer working as expected. Followed the steps listed on the support page and are now able to once again search all messages by email address regardless of date. Thank you for your response.
Hello , In my case The quick Search Box doesn´t even start the search.
Does not allow input , and doesn't turn off/On.
Have done rebuild global database with no success.
Have done repair Folder with no success.
I use IMAP accounts.
Used Thunderbird for many years this is the 1st time this happens (last updat or the update before not sure which), and it's very annoying searches badly impaired. My version 78.8.1 64 bits
