With VPN on, I can't connect to new T-Mobile 5G home internet service

I have Mozilla VPN installed on my PC. I just began new home internet service with T-Mobile. The internet connection is great with the VPN off. As soon as I turn the VPN on, all internet functionality is lost until I turn the VPN off again. I want to use the VPN.

Are there settings in my computer I need to change? Or with the VPN?
