The first time I delete an email in a session I get the message shown in the attached image asking if I want to purge deleted emails. I have set a 30 day retention policy for my Deleted folder so I don't want or need to do this and there seems to be no way to suppress this annoying message. It has only been happening recently so must have been introduced in an update.

Can anyone help?

Recently, the devs decided in their wisdom to change the very clear wording to something very misleading and highly confusing. It actually means compacting the folders. When you delete or move an email the original is still in the eg: Inbox, so compacting will remove that deleted email.

As pre settings here: Menu app icon > Options > General scroll down to 'Network & disk Space' section 'Disk Space section' 'compact all folders when it will save ovre X MB'
