In order for Firefox to remember my passwords, I have to go into the passwords options and check the box that states "ask to save my passwords".. it seems to "uncheck" every 24 hours or so. Why doesn't the check box stay "checked"?

Are you using any other password manager add-on/programs?

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

You can't have multiple Password Managers enabled at the same time, so if you have others like RoboForm or Trend Micro Password Manager then the builtin Firefox Lockwise Password Manager will be disabled.
