can't attached email using microsoft word
i just started having this problem out of nowhere. when i try to share a file using word it will usually open up my default mail which is "thunderbird". it will no longer do that. Instead word says there is a mapi failure. i had a microsoft tech remotely try & fix it. after 2 hours they said it was a thunderbird problem. please help

The problem is a mapi failure.
Please check the following.
Please check registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\Mail
In search type: Run Select 'Run' app type regedit click on OK Locate this registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\Mail on right side double click on 'Default' In 'Value Data' type: Mozilla Thunderbird click on OK
This should have been the first thing the tech bloke should have checked, so can you confirm whether you needed to fix as explained in previous comment or whether it already had that setting.
When i mention 'in search type run - I'm talking about your computer not Thunderbird.
