Hi,

I am looking to create branded emails using thunderbird. Is that possible at all please?

I use a footer currently and that's fine but I want to create emails with images (within the email not an attachment) and play around with design/links etc.

I keep hearing about HTML and have found other sites where I can design nice looking emails but then how do I transfer that email design to thunderbird to use? Is that possible?

As you can tell I am very amateur in all this so please feel free to speak to me in basic terms.

TIA

Terry

You could start with a new message, add your content and styles, then File/Save As/Template. There is an add-on for more complex template creation and importing: SmartTemplate4. Transferring html from websites may be as simple as copy and paste, or using Insert/HTML... in a TB Write window. There is also an add-on for more efficient html editing.
