I am using Firefox version 77.0.1 (64 bit), which I assume I was upgraded to automatically this week. Whether that happened this week or not, as of two days ago, the icons that previously appeared for my password protector (Bitwarden) and my ad blocker (AdBLock) no longer appear in my browser toolbar. I can find no way to restore them, nor can I find a way to use "Customize" to add them to my toolbar menu. Has something changed? Am I missing something? Do I need to go back to the previous version of Firefox?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions.
Make sure they are turned on.

I posted a question yesterday about why the app icons no longer appeared on my toolbar, and how I could restore them. FredMcD responded, but the approach he mentioned didn't solve the problem. In the meantime I contacted the support team for one of the apps (Bitwarden, to be specific), and they were able to provide the solution. I informed Fred in an email, and he suggested that I post the solution here. Bitwarden told me to create a new Firefox profile. When I did that, the toolbar in all my Firefox browser pages was restored to its former state, with add-on icons appearing in the toolbar. No other action on my part was necessary. I have no idea how a profile gets corrupted and, in fact, wasn't even aware that I had a profile (LOL), but if something like this happens to any of you, try creating a new Firefox profile and see if that helps.
