Why can't I delete the Outgoing SMTP server ?
I have no accounts configured, even then, why can't I delete the outgoing SMTP server ?
(Check the attached screenshot)
It is from my previous account which I have now deleted. Why is it still remaining when the account is deleted?

It's the same issue with deleting accounts by selecting the incoming server - the Default account can't be removed. I don't know why the smtp server wasn't removed when the gmail account was deleted, but if you add another account and set it as default, the other account can be removed.
If you want a completely clean setup, create a new profile from Help/Troubleshooting, about:profiles.

Why must I now permit TB to store the SMTP server password? This is a defense I have used against spam for years? Your recent updates a truly gifts, similar to the ones the neighbor's dog leaves on the lawn.
