Is there Open tabs Sync in the current Firefox Preview?

If there is, there's an issue on my device as in the selection of things to have synchronized I don't see "Tabs". The only workaround I can use is to Send (Share menu) a tab collection to a device. Which actually works well. It's much slower and requires the pages to be loaded but still...

Hi

Thank you for your interest in Firefox Preveiw and in sharing tabs between devices, I agree that it is very useful.

Syncing open tabs is not currently a feature of Firefox Preview, but is something that may be included in a future update.

Good to know at leadt. I wondered where it's gone today when i wanted to visit one of tabs on my desktop but its nowhere to be found. I'm on Android 10 with Firefox 75. Its a very useful feature and i hope it'd come back (I support firefox by using it on all my devices).

For anyone looking for a way to share tabs between Firefox Preview on Android and a PC, there is still the possibility to share the tab from the phone. To share the tab (1) click on share (2) select the connected device to share the tab with.

I am aware that this is not exactly like tab sync, but it might come in handy in some situations.

This works for entire collections as well! Just be aware that the tabs in a random window if you start your PC AFTER you issued "send to". I always do: 0. Add all Firefox preview tabs to a collection. 1. Open up a new Firefox desktop window 2. Send the tab group to my PC 3. Select all tabs - Bookmark tabs

Looking forward to see this implemented! Is there a corresponding open issue in GitHub?

Firefox Preview has just been replaced on Android by Firefox Beta. It's only a name change. However, as of today, the Firefox Nightly (not with "for developers" in the name) does feature tab sync.

I am still having this issue. Firefox nightly on android does not sync, it does not show any synced tabs, and Firefox desktop 79.0 32bit shows only old tabs (from some 2-3 weeks ago).
