Thunderbird keeps sending emails from multiple of my accounts, even though I specify which email address I want it to be sent from?
I keep writing emails from my primary account but for whatever reason, thunderbird keeps sending the emails from BOTH my personal and my work email. I did not draft this email under my work account and it was not in the 'send from" line.
Why is this happening?
Chosen solution
The gmail account user1@gmail.com should send on gmailsmtp1 that has the same User Name, i.e. user1@gmail.com , and account user2@gmail.com should send on gmailsmtp2 that has the same User Name, i.e. user2@gmail.com. Organize the smtp servers in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) section at the bottom of the left pane of Account Settings. Give each server a distinct Description, e.g. gmailsmtp1 or 2, even though the server name, port, authentication and security are all the same. Then, go back to selecting each account in the left pane, click the Outgoing Server (SMTP) drop-down in the right pane, and set the correct smtp.

Open Tools/Account Settings, select an account in the left pane, then click Edit SMTP server in the lower right pane. Is the User Name of the smtp the same as the User Name of the account? Each account should send on a matching smtp, not all sending through a Default smtp, since some services will automatically switch the From address to the address of the smtp.

Okay, so a little clarification here then because I think this will resolve it but I just want to be clear.
So for each account they should have the same SMTP server? (they're both google emails)
