TB has started asking for my password but refuses to accept it. "Enter new PW" does not help. Help!!

Others report the same problem! TB refuses to connect to the server and does not really want a new PW but refuses the old one. I am completely cut off from the internet and am very unhappy!

Well you certainly will not be able to check email with Thunderbird if you have no Internet. You need to fix that first.
