Thunderbird changes Gmail's time stamp when removing attachment!
If you use Thunderbird to delete attachments from existing Gmail messages (a useful feature if you're approaching your Gmail storage quote), Thunderbird will sometimes change the time stamp of the newly created message with the stripped attachment.
In my current example, Thunderbird seems to be shifting the edited messages an hour later. Seems related to daylight savings somehow, but I don't see why Thunderbird should be messing with messages that have already been sent. This is totally messing up thread order in Gmail. How do I fix this?
Chosen solution
well that would almost certainly be daylight savings, but how it occurs I have no idea.

I have tried changing Windows 10 date and time settings by changing the time zone and turning Automatic DST on and off, and that has not helped.
I have noticed that Thunderbird actually displays the new message's time correctly, but Gmail displays it stamped an hour later.
I would expect the message date to change as you are creating a new message, not editing an existing one. My understanding of IMAP is it does not allow for a message to be edited, only created and deleted.
Message date does not change. I am removing attachments from several years ago, and Thunderbird uses the correct date. The time stamp is off by an hour, however.

Do Mozilla developers read this forum? I need to know how to fix this.
