tbird does not reopen tabs on restart

Hi all, thunderbird 68.5.0 64bit. I use to keep some messages open in tabs in tbird. After clpsing tbird, it won't keep tabs open when I restart it. How can I solve this? Is there a setting in config editor? Do i have to reset my preferences? Do I need to reset to factory default? Thanks in advance
