Is this where some kind and smart person will respond? I do not know how to find any more answers or how to actually be in touch with someone.

What does "please provide content" in colored text in a non-usable window mean?
Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What are the exact error message(s) ?
If you lost personal data then it is possible that a new default-release profile folder has been created. See "Determine if Firefox has created a new profile":
You can open the about:profiles page via the location bar to check whether multiple profiles are present and what profile Firefox currently is using.
- Do NOT click any Remove button on this page.

Also make sure that Firefox is installed properly.
Open the Firefox Disk Image file and drag the Firefox application to the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the Disk Image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
I really appreciate someone trying to help me. I am trying to follow all of these different instructions, but it is very confusing to me. I don't understand which article or thread or next link to work with yet. It has been a long frustrating day and tomorrow I work another double shift. Too tired right now. The next chance I'll have to sort all of this out will be Saturday when I am off again. I sure wish I could just screen share or actually talk with someone.
So, thank you and I hope I can find this site and the information / thread again. I guess I'll be in touch then. doc
