Using Tbird 68. Gcontactsync keeps dying. I have to close Tbird and restart it. What's going on?

What's happening with gcontactsync? Using it with Tbird 68 on Linux. Everything's okay for a few hours, then I get a message that I had to close Tbird and restart. My contacts are all gone. I have to re-sync. This never happened before. Can anyone tell me what's happening? Thanks.

Well, the gcontactsync page indicates that 3.1.x should work with Tbird 68. The author inidicates there are multiple problems, mostly involving Mozilla's shifting approach to how Firefox/Tbird operate. I've searched for an alternative way of syncing the contacts, but nothing seems appear.

Thanks.
