How can I turn off T-Bird 68.3.1 "Dark Theme"?

The current edition of T-Bird has a too dark display for my tastes and eyes. It doesn't play well with some of the message highlight colors and looks damn depressing. How do I turn it off? It's not in someplace obvious like "Appearance" menu in the "Settings" section so where did the "off" switch get hidden?

I know the "Dark Theme" is the rage these days for some folks; I'm kinda over it and I can take it or leave it. So when I'm really not diggin' the Darth Vader vibe? I'd sure like to be able set T-bird to *MY* liking.

I'm answering my own question ...a Murphy's Law thing; ask a question, post it and you will find the answer to your own question in short order ...sometimes.

Okay, consider this a learning curve on my part and I know I'm not the only one on the planet trying to figure it out as well. So add this to the knowledge base for the collective.

Here's what you do:

Go to:

1) TOOLS menu ...found at the very top of the screen.

Drop down menu and select:

2) Add-ons And there it will be, staring you in the face ...at least on a Mac desktop:

"Manage Your Themes"

You won't see many choices; two "darks" and "light".

Don't be dismayed by the "Disabled" note you'll see on the "light" theme; you will enable it by clicking on the "bar" of the theme you want. Presto. Head back out and life is good once again.

They couldn't have hidden it any better. I hated the dark theme immediately - why did they force it on us? Every time they make an "improvement," I have to figure out how to defeat them.

I use FF on WIndows. The dark theme was a choice. It was not installed automatically.
