Lost all my 11 email accounts in thunderbird, everything gone, working a mac. Help please.

When I opened Thunderbird today they asked if I wanted to set up an account. There was no trace of my 11 existing accounts, their inboxes folders or any identification whatsoever. Nothing. Nada I am working on a Mac and need to recover this data..any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Did TB have an unexpected crash before this happened, such as caused by a power outage?
