A couple days ago, I was hopping onto chatzy.com as I usually do to get on with my roleplay group. This time when I entered the site an error message popped up saying "The site https://chatzy.com says: Invalid Data:" and I have to hit "OK" to make it go away. When I enter the actual chatroom, the message pops up again. It never use to do this before. I checked to see if it happened on other web browsers, and it does not, so it seems like a Mozilla issue. Ideas how to fix? Please help. Thank you.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla and the issue is resolved. The reason I figured it wasn't a website issue was because it didn't happen when I hopped on the site using Internet Explore or Chrome. Just Mozilla.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

  • check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions"

If it happens again:

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this could help others with similar problems.

Actually...nevermind. It was good for a sec, and then it started doing it again. Again...only have had this issue happen on Mozilla, which is unfortunate since I do really enjoy it. I'm not sure if it's because of a new update or what. This NEVER has happened before, and I've used Mozilla and been on Chatzy for years.

Blocking cookies makes it go away, but it won't let me sign in without having cookies enabled...So...any ideas regarding that?

Remove History For One Site

Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any settings.

Update: It is back to working like normal again. I went and "refreshed" mozilla by going back to default settings and everything. That seemed to work for now. Then the silly pop-up appeared again just now...then I realized something. I had installed an add-on called Honey, and I think it was popping up because Honey tries to find you deals and coupons, and Chatzy isn't that kind of site. So it wasn't finding any "valid data" to find deals on.

So I uninstalled Honey, let's see if that works for good!

Thanks for all the tips everyone!
