Cursor speed has decreased to the point that I cannot use either the touchpad, mouse or trackball. The only way to use Firefox at all is by touch screen.

Hi GRD Lock & Key, The only control in Firefox, that I am aware of, is scrollwheel speed. Please check your system's Mouse settings or other settings in regard to peripheral devices.

I am using a Kennsigton Trackball. There is no problem with any other software on my system. I have used a different mouse and/or the touch pad. The issue in Firefox is both the cursor speed and the scroll speed. if I use the touch screen everything works fine. I have tried just about everything possible, even to the point of uninstalling the software and installing a new copy w/ new profie. The problem just will not go away.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
