Firefox is crashing when moving tabs
Yesterday, I first noticed that Firefox is crashing when I moved tabs. It does not depend if I am moving them between windows or just attempting to rearrange tabs in the same window. I have 2 profiles, with different settings and different addons, and the problem occurs in both profile.
Thank you for your help. I had to do a restart earlier today, that caused a Windows UPDATE and then a Firefox did an update. After that my issues were resolved. Again thank you for your help.Read this answer in context 👍 0

Thank you for the help.
I also switch many tabs in my mozila firefox so because following reasons that problem can occur 1.check you task manager using ctrl+alt+delete then you can check is your disk is fulled or not ok 2. check it how many browsers you opened then one issue occur if you opened so many browsers then that can affect on ex:- chrome firefox not responding ok check it out services and and disable unwanted services ok Hope your issue is solved by this tricks/Myths ok
The thing is my browsing habits have not changed recently. I will admit I do have two Firefox profiles open at one time (to different processes in the task manager). I also tend to have a lot of tabs and windows open at one time, but that is only in one profile. If that was the only profile that was crashing, then I would expect that was the issue. But it is both profiles that crash.
Something changed yesterday at the time of the first crash.
These and others are too old to be useful.

Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.
Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders
Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Linux: Check your user manual. If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it. See Install Firefox on Linux; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux
If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory. http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look for, and remove any Mozilla or Firefox program folders. Do not remove the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
Do Not remove any profile folders.
After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner if you have one. Then run the installer. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If there is a problem, start your Computer in safe mode and try again.
