Hello tootall183,

Would you try this please :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, is asked)

Type in the search bar extensions.htmlaboutaddons.

Look for the preferences :

extensions.htmlaboutaddons.discover.enabled and extensions.htmlaboutaddons.recommendations.enabled

Set their values to false

Then close and restart Firefox.

Thank you that worked!! A simple toggle in add-ons would have been nice Mozilla. Changing the config file could be tricky for some users.

I totally agree with you - unfortunately there is nothing we (volunteer contributors) can do about it ...... :(

I'm glad that you managed to get rid of the recommendations - well done !
