Hello!

Maybe I am asking on the wrong mailing list, but I have unsuccessfully tried to output sound from Firefox stable to sndiod on Debian testing.

This was after following suggestions from:

https://docs.voidlinux.org/config/media/sndio.html

As far as I know, sndiod is considered experimental on Debian but I want to try it anyway.

If you know where I am more likely to find information I would appreciate pointers. I can't upgrade Debian to unstable, but if it's possible I can try some testing version of Firefox.

Regards,

Per Gunnarsson

Am a long term linux user, mostly opensuse and ubuntu.

Other users here may know.

Suggest also post your query within the linux Debian Forum related to your version to see if users of similar do experience same/similar issue.

Such problem may relate to simple settings within used linux version.

My experience with other knowledgeable users of same linux version do often resolve these quickly.

IF you resolve problem, please post your resolution back here to help others who also read here.
