Hello everybody, i have just finished a big long windows update and since then i cannot open the firefox browser. Even if i download a new firefox version i cannot open it: In the 2 instances, a window pops up with this message "<window id="main-window". Thank you for your time and your help. Patrick

Try to reinstall Firefox.
- download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
*https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ - start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon

Many have reported issues using the 64bit Firefox. Try the 32bit version
Bonjour, thank you very much for your attention. i am very new in technology and i must say that i am very clumsy with it; i really appreciate your answer but as far as i understand and as i cannot open anymore the firefox browser i should reload it? using the 32 bits version? am i right?
If you are having problems with the 64-bit version, then try using the 32-bit.
