Hi. I deleted these files per wrong advice: sessionstore [v56] sessionstore.jsonlz4 file(s). How can I restore & save my book marks if I have to un/reinstall?

Posted

Does this cause problems? Will they reinstall automatically somehow? Most of all, I want to preserve my book marks if I have to un/reinstall. Thank You.

Chosen solution

Try using the Windows 10 "Recycle Bin" to undelete files you want to restore.

Sessionstore files only store your sessions. places.sqlite stores your History and Bookmarks.

Hi GotMilk

Could you please keep the discussion in one thread and not keep creating a new thread for each answer. I've locked the other two threads.

Hello Cor-el/Moderator - I can't figure out how any of this works, so I am posting the best way I can. I'm sorry. I've never been this incapable, but I am apparently right now. I can't find anything in Mozilla anywhere. And I don't know how to access the threads to questions I've left, so I've started leaving new questions. ...
