There used to be an addon called ie-tab, which enabled firefox to use the internet explorer engine for rendering web pages. It does not seem to be available any longer. I looked at a couple of addons which state that they open a web page in ie instead of firefox - but the reviews seem negative. Anyway, I do not want to switch to IE, I just want to render the page as if it were in IE and then turn it off when I don't need this functionality.

No, there isn't an extension like IE-Tab available for Firefox 57+ Quantum.

Hello rmmhayes,

I see many positive reviews here :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-in-internet-explorer/

and :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-in-ie-1/

But maybe these don't do what you are looking for  ?
