So, I have been a long time Firefox user and today I just noticed that I get some odd message when trying to preform an automated install that i NEVER seen before(see attached). I use the -ms switch to preform a silent install.

Like I said I have never seen this in all my years using a silent automated installation.

Can anyone tell me why it is coming up and how to possibly avoid this stupid error; possibly with another silent switch.

W10 1809/64bit. Latest version Firefox 64 bit.

Thank You in Advance

Chosen solution

I resolved the issue myself since person answered was not helpful and found another person on the forum had the same problem.

The stub installer was being downloaded as Mozilla added stub installers to the code i.e:

Are you posting from the computer with the problem? Was Firefox installed on that computer before? When?

From the page you showed us, just press the ' ' re-install ' ' button to continue. Note that the checkbox means that a new blank profile will be created.
