Thunderbird 60.4: Want to shut off double spacing. There is no Options/Composition menu selection, nor anything under tools.
The Question says it all. None of the Google responses solve this problem since the menu selections recommended do not exist in Thunderbird 60.4 on a Windows 10 platform.

Hi anelson55447, I get the impression that you are looking for a menu item called "Composition". Composition is the name of a panel in the Options window. Hopefully the following instructions are easier to understand than what you have already read...
- Press the Alt key to show the menu bar.
- Then go to Tools > Options. The Options window will then open.
- In the Options window, select the Composition panel.
- Select the General tab.
- Uncheck Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text by default.

Great! Thanks much. It is easy when you have the right instructions.
