Chosen solution

the server exists, and I can access it in all my browsers, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera (I develop websites and use all for testing, although firefox developer edition is my browser of choice), however, all images fail to load in any browser, they all are referenced from a single folder on the websites server, 'files.php', and it would appear that the server has either had the image folder removed, or it is misconfigured, but this is a website/webserver issue at the site end, and not a firefox, or any other browser bug.

I know this is of no help to you in your studies, but can't be fixed from your end, sorry.

A Google search seems to suggest that these links are quite old (2011 - 2012) and I get a server not found error page if I open a link in a new tab, so I assume that this server is gone.

If there is a server not found error page and it doesn't work in any browser then it is quite likely that these pages no longer exist and that this website is no longer maintained.

What is the last time that this website worked for you?
