Will somebody please help me reset my thunderbird passwords?
I will gladly pay a $100 for someone to log into my computer and help me reset my passwords! I have tried all the instructions on line and none of then work!
Chosen solution
I have gone online and stated the problem and have tried every solution I seen and I could'nt get any of them to work. I've give up in trying to do it myself. That's why I need someone that knows more about it than I do and can log in and fix it for me. I have a lot of saved email in my Thunderbird and i don't want to lose them. I'm 76 and my memory isn't what i used to be, so rather than continue to fight it, i just to hire someone that knows what they are doing to just log into my computer and fix my problem.
I think I'll try the Geek Squad at Best Buy again and see if one of their techs can do it for me. It's been awhile since I asked thme and they didn't have a tech that knew anything about Thunderbird.

why do you want o reset them? I doubt the solution your are looking at is the one you need is why I ask. Usually issues with password storage fall into two categories.
One lot caused by a glitch in the TB60 update were in some obscure circumstances the password store upgrade fails and you need to delete the phsc11 file from your profile folder. Almost all the other instances fall into over helpful nanny related antivirus/ internet security suites that like Swiss army knives have a million tools, mostly functional but none of them very good.
