Alt gr + enter is not opening a new tab when searching via searchbar

FF used to work in a way that it would open the search results in a new tab after hitting Alt gr+Enter when confirming input of the searchbar.

Now lately this doesn't work anymore, which is quite annoying since I mostly want to search aside of the current tab. The question now is how do I fix this issue?
