When I clear cookies, I am signed out of Firefox Sync. What cookies do I need to keep to prevent this?
I use CCleaner to clear cookies from all browsers. After doing so I an signed out of Firefox Sync. Are there specific cookies I should keep?
Chosen solution
You can let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies instead of using "Clear history when Firefox closes" or other means (external cleanup software) to clear the cookies.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"
You can create an "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies.
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data

Does CCleaner remove "local storage" or "DOM storage" entries? Firefox creates storage entries under:
So try exempting that server.
There might be others, but that was the most obvious one.
