Hi

The icon may be in what is known as the "application drawer". You may have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen, or (from the Android homescreen) select a icon that looks like a circle with a number of blocks inside it.

From there you can long press on the Firefox icon and drag it to a position on the Android homescreen.
