Firefox Quantum stops buffering after about one minute, when I want to stream a film (I am not talking about Youtube Videos, but just normal films)

Last year there was a topic about the same problem. They gave the following solution:

"There is an easy fix for it just increase media.cache_readhead_limit to 9999 and media.cache_resume_treshold also to 9999. This was also puzzling me since firefox 54 would buffer till the end of the video but firefox 55 wouldn't, so I went trough the about:config and found those two lines once I chagned their values from (60, 30) to those above every single video I opened in firefox so far buffered till the end, you don't even need to restart the firefox just refresh the page for changes to take the effect. Hope this helped. "

Well, unfortunately, it did not work for me. I did all the changes in about:config as indicated, but I continue having the same problem. Any suggestions? Thanks for helping, Cheers

Separate Security Issue, please update your Flash 11.7 r700 by removing it with this tool : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html If you use it Reinstall with Flash Player Version: 30.0.0.154 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .)

Hi, since your running version 11 of Flash I would think it is your OS and or System that is the issue and not Firefox.

Personally watch all my tv and video movies in everything but Firefox.\

Is there a reason your using Firefox to watch stuff in since it is not a dedicated Video Program like : https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html

The insides of Firefox is continually changing at this time and if your searching you need to use info from 2018 ver 60 +

Note, Firefox updates this date to version 62.0 Help --About to push it, it may take several restarts or pick your language : https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/62.0/mac/

The issue is really the age of your system and video card. There is no work around for age.

The problem was I had an old Flash version. I uninstalled the old one and installed the new one. Resolved. Thanks for helping. Cheers
